Amit Shah Tests Positive for Coronavirus

It’s a tough world to be living in at this point of time with the corona virus rampant across hundreds of countries. They say stay home in order to be safe but with restrictions across the country in place, we’re still having more than 50,000 positive cases a day in India. A few minutes back, one of the top Indian leaders has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Amit Shah Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Earlier, UP Minister Kamal Rani Varun, 62, passed away due to the virus and now, Amit Shah has also been tested positive, something he himself confirmed with a post on his Twitter handle. He tweeted in Hindi to let his followers know and he also requested all those who came in contact with him recently to get tested as well.

“On getting the initial symptoms of corona, I got the test done and the report came back positive,” was the literal translation of his tweet. He also went on to add that he’s feeling fine and not sick, but is being hospitalized on the advice of his doctors. For those who don’t know, Amit Shah has been the President of the BJP Party between 2014-2020 and is currently Minister of Home Affairs in India.

India now has over 17 Lakh COVID-19 cases and it makes you wonder that if someone as rich and powerful as the Indian Home Minster can be tested positive, you can get it too! While there’s no further details on the Amit Shah story, you can keep checking this space for any new updates that follow. Stay tuned to ReadScoops.com
