The oldest and the most traditional grand slam of the lot is The Wimbledon Championships which takes place every year in the June/July period in England. The third grand slam of the annual tennis calendar after the Australian Open and French Open, Wimbledon has been around for over a century and the grass court event brings out the best in all the participating players.
The 2022 Wimbledon Championships was won by Novak Djokovic in the men’s competition and Elena Rybakina in the women’s tournament. Wimbledon 2023 Dates
While most of the other slams have a few weeks or months in between each other, it’s a quick transition from clay court to grass because Wimbledon takes place less than a month after the Roland Garros slam in Paris. The Wimbledon 2023 dates have been announced and the men’s and women’s tournaments will both take place between 3-16 July 2023.
The qualifiers will take place in the week prior to the start of the tournament, with the Wimbledon 2023 qualifiers scheduled between 26-29 June 2023, at the Community Sport Centre Roehampton. In fact, the organisers have gone one step ahead and also announced Wimbledon 2024 dates, scheduled to happen between 1-14 July 2024.

Wimbledon 2023 Schedule
Play on all outside courts will begin at 11am local time daily, and a full Wimbledon 2023 Order of Play will be available the night before the next day’s play during the tournament. A total of 14 days are on the Wimbledon 2023 schedule which begins on a Monday and the grand men’s singles final will take place on a Sunday. The women’s singles final will take place on Saturday, a day before the men’s final.
The men’s and women’s singles Round 1 will take place between 3-4 July with Round 2 taking place between 5-6 July 2023. The third and fourth rounds also have two days each assigned to them, as well as the Wimbledon 2023 quarter finals and semi finals.
