We’ve seen four seasons of Criminal Justice now on JioHotstar. The previous three seasons saw the uncultured by swaggered Madhav Mishra win all his cases with unconventional methods, a role played by the versatile Pankaj Tripathi. The fourth season called Criminal Justice: A Family Matter was not much different, but with plenty of more twists and turns.
Most viewers may think it’s going to be Mr. Mishra to win the case as usual, and that’s what initial happened in Criminal Justice Season 4 Episode 8 as well. As the trial for the murder of Roshni Saluja came to an end, we saw the lawyer skillfully find out the murderer after months of court hearings, with Mrs. Anju Nagpal being eventually convicted for Roshni’s murder.

Nagpal did what he had to to save his daughter from Roshni’s evil ways, and considering Anju did this selfless move for the future of her daughter, Mishra deleted the recording he made of her final confession. She told Mishra that Raj Nagpal has his entire life ahead of him to feel guilty about his crime, but at least he will be there to raise the daughter, who he deeply loves.
