It took a coouple of weeks for the first ever Nepal Premier League hundred to be scored and that came off the bat of South African turned USA citizen, Andries Gous. The big-hitting opener hitting 104* in 55 deliveries for the Pokhara Avengers against the Lumbini Lions at the Kirtipur Ground, in a knock which included 12 fours and also 5 big sixes.

After him, Scottish bowler Mark Watt delivered an NPL century in the NPL 2025 season, smashing the current highest NPL T20 score of 114(44)* for the Karnali Yaks, again against the Lumbini Lions team. The knock from Watt will not be forgotten anytime soon because it came with 12 sixes in the innings and a whopping strike rate of 259+, and let’s not forget that he’s actually in the side for his bowling and not batting. So far, there are 2 centuries in the NPL hundreds list, and both of them are come from overseas players, with the highest local score being 95 from Rohit Paudel in NPL 2024.
The tournament is growing in terms of the franchises and the players being attracted to this part of the world, so we may see some more NPL centuries in years to come. In the NPL 2025 season too, Karnali Yaks opener Priyank Panchal scored 90 on his competition debut, narrowly missing a well-deserved entry in the NPL centuries list himself.
