The Indian Premier League (IPL) has given us so much of entertainment and excitement and thrill over the last 15 years. However, the tournament hasn’t always been about big sixes and great bowling, but there’s a lot of emotion attached to it as well. We’ve seen some heart-warming stories and reunions, and plenty of rags to riches scenarios too.
Today before the start of IPL 2023 Match 50 between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, another very touching moment was witnessed as the two teams were out there doing some stretching and warming up at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Former RCB captain Virat Kohli was seen meeting and greeting his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma.

“He knows whom to respect β€οΈ” was another user’s comment on the heart warming video. Today, Kohli needs 12 runs to go down in IPL history and become the first person to score 7,000 runs in the history of the competition. He will be playing at Delhi, where he played for many years in his younger days. See the video posted by the IPL Twitter account:

Kohli was in the limelight recently due to an ugly altercation with Gautam Gambhir in RCB’s last game against Lucknow Super Giants. The fight sparked many comments as to whether Kohli is arrogant and rude, but this video shows very clearly that he gives and takes respect when needed, and gives people back when they’ve crossed him.
