It’s that time of the year again when the Lanka Premier League (LPL) returns. And here on this page, we’re going to discuss the complete LPL 2022 squads of the five participating teams – Colombo Stars, Kandy Falcons, Jaffna Kings, Galle Gladiators, and Dambulla Aura. There were quite a few changes from the original LPL 2022 squads because some dropped out for international duties, and others dropping out to play in the BBL 2022/23 season.

One of the big names to miss out at LPL 2022 will be opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka as he was involved in a massive sex scandal in Australia during the 2022 T20 World Cup, due to which he was arrested and further investigations are underway. Either way, we expect it to be another great season in Sri Lanka.
