With every previous edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL T20), we’ve seen postponements and delays, which meant the Sri Lankan T20 franchise competition has always taken place in the December time window. Now, LPL 2023 has been announced in the Jul/Aug period and it’s going to be a completely different game altogether, with bigger and better international stars now available to participate.
The LPL 2023 dates and schedule has been announced and the five participating franchise remain the same as last year as well. The teams have retained four players each ahead of the LPL 2023 auction (14th June) and we’ve put down a complete list of the LPL 2023 squads, which we’ll further update once the auction is done and every team has their complete squads in place…
LPL Season 4 complete squads list
There’s a $500k budget for each team going into the LPL 2023 auction and while this page was last updated 9th June 2023, we’re going to bring to you the complete LPL 2023 squads list once the squads have been built. We’re expecting big bucks for some of the local players, while the international stars could fetch big pay packages as well.

With over a month left until the start of the LPL 04 season, we don’t have any major players backing out due to personal or injury related issues as yet. As we move closer to the competition, we may see some players dropping out, which we will also update in this section here. The captains are also not announced, which we’ll update here too, once they’ve been announced.
