This 2021 South Africa tour of Pakistan has been a poor one for the visitors so far. South Africa lost the Test series 2-0 and they sent a completely newbie side to participate in the T20I series. We thought the shorter format would be an easier one for them but they ended up losing the 1st T20I as well, although they were in control of the game for most parts. They will draw plenty positives from that game.

The first person on my PAK vs SA fantasy team today will have to be Usman Qadir. The leg-spinner bamboozled everyone from his first over till his last over and ended with 2/21 in his 4 overs, so he’s a must have today. Apart from him, we’d like to have Haris Rauf in the side. He was super expensive but this pacer seems to find a way to be among the wickets at all times, getting 2/44 in that last game.
With the bat, Babar Azam scored a first ball duck and the former world number one T20 batsman will be itching to get back out there and score some runs, while his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan is out of our PAK vs SA Dream11 team because everyone will be picking him today. Haider Ali played a few beautiful shots before being dismissed in the last game and he’s coming off some great form in the domestic circuit as well.

After looking all at sea against spin and getting only 2 runs and also going wicketless, we think that Jacques Snyman can be replaced by Jon Jon Smuts and this guy will contribute with bat or ball, if not both. He’s a good choice to be your fantasy captain or vice-captain today. The actual captain of the side Heinrich Klaasen looked aggressive in his short innings and he was in fabulous form when cricket came to a halt last year, so we’re expecting much from him too.

With the ball, Dwaine Pretorius was wicketless in his two overs but he was economical and we think he will have a bigger rile to play in the rest of the series, especially after he proved he can hit a few lusty blows with the bat as well.
