They aren’t losing early wickets and Kane Williamson isn’t good as a finisher; thus, he isn’t the best pick today.

Left arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has been a little hit and cold so far this season but we can’t deny the fact that he is a wicket-taker, having picked 6 scalps in his 5 games so far. He may be expensive but we think he’ll be among the wickets once again. Vijay Shankar will bowl and bat in the middle order and since he hasn’t done much this season, not many will pick him. We think he could even be a good fantasy captain pick.

Chennai Super Kings

Ruturaj Gaikwad and N Jagadeesan made IPL debuts this season because the CSK middle order is in a shambles without Suresh Raina. Ambati Rayudu did well in the first game and has just struggled since then but we’re backing him to come well here against SRH. Apart from him, we’d like to see captain MS Dhoni promote himself and take more responsibility rather than expecting to come out late and chase big targets.

Shane Watson has 311 runs against SRH since IPL 2018 including a century in that season’s final. He hasn’t even been dismissed by Rashid Khan yet, so we’re picking Watto to get a big one today. With the ball, it’s high time Imran Tahir makes a debut this season but that would mean leaving out either one of Bravo or Curran.
