On one hand, we have Delhi Capitals who are on top of the table with 3 wins in 4 games and a more superior net run rate and on the other hand, we have Royal Challengers Bangalore who also have 3 wins in 4 games including two consecutive wins coming into this one – Match 19!

I’ll pick him again especially if RCB is chasing, where King Kohli is at his best. The hero so far has been Devdutt Padikkal who has scored 3 fifties in 4 games in IPL 2020 and the ease with which he’s conducted his scoring of runs makes us pick him in our BLR vs DC fantasy team.

Gurkeeerat Singh hasn’t been bowling and barely gets to bat, so we’re leaving him out of our fantasy team today but we think Shivam Dube is someone who has game changing potential, which hasn’t been tapped yet. Though he bowled only 1 over in his last 2 games, he picked 4 scalps in 2 games prior to that and is a big hitter too. Pick Adam Zampa if he’s given another game or else, we think his replacement could come in Chris Morris, if he’s fit!

Delhi Capitals

Though Prithvi Shaw has managed 2 fifties in IPL 2020 already, he hasn’t been known for great consistency and he will need more application on such a pitch, so we’ll go with the more experienced Shikhar Dhawan who has only 95 runs in 4 games and will be itching to get a big score. Shreyas Iyer’s captain’s knock of 88* in the last game gets him into our BLR vs DC fantasy team as well.

Someone like Rishabh Pant may fall to the clever Yuzvendra Chahal who is brilliant against left-hander who like to go for a slog, so we’re leaving Pant out today. Instead of the over-popular Kagiso Rabada, we’re picking his countryman Anrich Nortje, who has 5 scalps in 4 games.
