The final episode called ‘Crash and Burn’ is a complete twist and because it’s super fast paced, you may have missed out on what quite happened towards the end of Farzi Amazon Prime Video.
Farzi web-series plot
Basically, the Farzi plot is one of the ‘get rich by any means’ and Shahid Kapoor (Sunny) gets used to money and the rich life. He gets entangled in a whole, big mess even after getting out of the wrong ways in life. He and his childhood friend Firoz (Bhuvan Arora) set out on one last mission to help out Kay Kay Menon (Mansoor Dalal) but they get to know that they were played and there was a massive setup.
The setup was constructed by Sethupathi’s (Michael Vedanayagam) special task force called CCFART and Sunny realises it’s a setup when he saw his love interest / girlfriend Raashii Khanna (Megha) in the mall parking lot where they went to do a drop of fake notes. He made the big mistake of falling in love with her and that’s why he uninstalled the spying software from her phone, which turned out to be a huge mistake.

Firoz told him he shouldn’t have mixed emotions with work and that turned out to be the turning point. But it turns out that they were screwed from both sides as now they were identified by the cops, which means a risk to Mansoor Dalal as well. He got his team to abduct Sunny and Firoz in India and kill them, but their boys followed them due to live location and managed to rescue them safely.
Their friend Anees (played by Saqib Ayub) got them to a safehouse and bought them train tickets to leave the city and lay low for a few days. However, hearing the news of the Kranti Magazine printing press being burned down and his grandfather ‘Nanu’ being killed in the fire brought out a whole different side of Sunny. He had nothing but revenge on his mind.
Farzi – ending explained
Now instead of boarding the train, Sunny decides to take a gun and go straight back to the warehouse where Dalal’s men had taken them when they planned to kill them. He fought off everyone in his sight, shooting some and hacking down the others. He shoot Dalal’s main man Jamal and even his advisor, Jitu Kaka. He had nothing to lose and it was visible in his eyes that he was willing to die for this revenge too.

He stopped at nothing and finally, after killing everyone in the warehouse, he answered Jitu Kaka’s phone. It turned out to be a video call from Dalal and Sunny let the former watch as he threw kerosene all over the mountain of fake bills/notes and lit it all to flames, despite all of Dalal’s apologies on the other side of the call. He walked out and the curtains closed on Farzi Season 1.
A lot of stories are pending including Michael catching Dalal, including Dalal’s revenge, including Sunny & Megha’s love story, and Sunny and Firoz reuniting as well. All this and more is sure to be revealed in Farzi Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. The season ends with the identification complete of Sunny on CCTV, but the pop-up on the machine doesn’t reveal whether it was accurately decoded or not.
