Every year, Colors TV hosts a reality TV show called ‘Bigg Boss‘ which is an adaptation of the UK show called Big Brother. The show has been given plenty of love over the years, with 16 successful editions having completed now. Today was the Bigg Boss 16 grand finale and we are here to announce the Bigg Boss 16 winner, after 4 months of being within the Bigg Boss house.
Today, the BB 16 grand finale took place and apart from the old BB16 contestants and the host Salman Khan, there were five housemates still left. The first to go out was Shalin Bhanot and the next out was Archana Gautam, leaving three players still in the game. And these finalists were Hindi rapper MC Stan, actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Bigg Boss Marathi winner, Shiv Thakare.
MC Stan wins Bigg Boss 16
There was a whole lot of dance, song, entertainment, and jokes taking place during the BB16 grand finale but eventually, the BB16 winner had to be announced. Right through the season, we spoke about who the potential winners could be along with regular social media polls on the same, which you can read here. Priyanka was eliminated next to leave Shiv and Stan as the finalists in the house.

A majority of the audience thought that it was easy to win a regional Bigg Boss like Shiv Thakare did, but he wouldn’t be able to replicate it at the national Bigg Boss. However, he fought well right from Day 1 and got love from across the country, making the finale. In the final however, he ended as runner-up as rapper Altaf Tadavi aka MC Stan was crowned BB16 winner.

He beat all odds and opened up towards the end of the show, gaining lots of love while doing so. Everyone believed that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was going to be crowned the BB16 winner but it was very shocking to see her out in third place. Even during the Bigg Boss 16 grand finale, we ran a poll on Twitter and she won them with a majority of votes as you can see below:

Stan walks away with 31.8 Lakh as the winner’s prize, along with the Bigg Boss 16 trophy and a brand new Hyundai car as well. It was great to see how gracefully Shiv Thakare accepted the loss, being genuinely happy for his friend Stan. Thakare narrowly missed bringing home his second Bigg Boss trophy, but walks away a winner in his own right as well.
