IguBet Shuts Down; IguCasino To Continue

There are hundreds of active online sports betting and casino websites, many of them come and go each there. It’s not easy to stand all the competition in this quickly growing iGaming industry, so not all of these platforms end up surviving the long game. One such sports betting website which ended up shutting shop recently was global brand, IguBet.

The brand is operated by Dama NV, while being licensed and regulated by Antillephone NV from the Curaçao Government. On Wednesday, 26th April 2023, they sent an email to all of their registered players and affiliates than IguBet is officially going to shut down, while their sister brand which is the online casino, IguCasino, will continue to run as usual.

IguBet officially shuts down

“We would like to inform you that we are closing the betting site Igubet, which was one of our projects. This decision was made after a thorough analysis of our business strategy and market. We would like to emphasize that this is not due to any violation of the law or improper activities of our company,” said the company’s email to all registered users.

“We are taking this step in order to improve the quality of our services and focus on other, more promising projects. We understand that Igubet has been one of the popular and sought after betting sites and we regret that we will no longer be able to provide this project. However, we are pleased to announce that our other casino project IguCasino continues to operate successfully and we will continue to provide you with a high quality service, focusing all our efforts on it,” continued the email.

“Therefore, we ask you to stop your promotional campaigns and remove the placements of Igubet from the sites. We understand that this may cause inconvenience to you and your customers and we are sorry about that. However, this is a necessary step for us to improve the quality of our services and focus on other projects,” they said, urging players to withdraw any existing balances from their IguBet accounts.

“If you have any questions or comments regarding this solution, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to answer all your questions and ensure our further productive work together.” The website is active at the time of us writing this, with a pop-up requesting users to ‘withdraw any remaining funds from your igubet.com account as soon as possible’.

There’s no official date mentioned to indicate how long the website will stay active but you can reach out to support@igubet.com if you need any help until they’re still active. And remember, you can always head over to IguCasino if you liked their experience and want to play online casino games.
