A few hours ago, Bollywood filmmaker and talk show host Karan Johar took to social media to give his fans and followers a small health update. As per the note he posted to Twitter, he mentioned that 2 members of his household staff had tested positive for coronavirus, a disease which is plaguing the entire world at the moment.
The note further added that as soon as symptoms were detected, the staff members were put into quarantine in a section of Johar’s building and the BMC was also informed, after which they came over to fumigate and sterilize the entire building. Johar also went on to add that he and the rest of his family had also taken the swab test earlier this morning and have tested negative for COVID-19.

While this is good news for the filmmaker and his family that he has tested negative, it will be a wake up call for him and for everyone else who has been taking this disease lightly. Johar himself will be under isolation for the next 14 days and while lockdown restrictions are easing off across the world, everyone should know how to behave and act responsibly and safely.
Johar ended the note saying that all the best treatment and care will be given to the members of his staff that tested positive and he also told everyone to continue staying safe during these tough times. Taking the right precautions and staying safe are the only ways we can defeat this virus. Together!
