Never have we ever seen such fabulous fan ratings for a movie, at least in India. For years (possibly decades), we’ve been following the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) for all movie ratings and reviews and for the first time ever, we’ve seen a 9.9 rating on IMDb, thanks to Sushant Singh Rajput’s last ever film called Dil Bechara which released on 24th July.
Having ‘committed suicide’ on 14th June, social media has been building up to this film which was the last project he worked on before his death. In fact, the trends had gone through the roofs as the Dil Bechara official trailer became the most liked trailer on YouTube, with more than 80 million views and 10 million likes when we last checked.

As for the movie, the release took place on Hotstar Premium and Twitter had trended the same, calling it the #DilBecharaDay and why not?! It’s one of the most anticipated films of the century so far in India, and Sushant didn’t let us down in this movie, which was a remake of ‘The Fault in our Stars’.

Ironically, he ends up dying in this movie too! But hey, no spoilers are given out here! The point of this article was to let you know about the record breaking rating on IMDb. In fact, their servers failed with the amount of traffic witnessed on their website today. Eventually, IMDb had to stop Dil Bechara’s page rating because of the response received.

For (possibly) the first time (at least) in India, IMDB's Rating server crashed. For the past 40 minutes, #DilBechara's IMDB Page' rating has been stopped with 502* votes, due to overwhelming rating response on the film's page.
