Last year, there was a new volleyball tournament for fans in India and around the world called Prime Volleyball League (PVL) and after the success of that initial edition, we’re back with the second season as well. This time, there are more games on the PVL 2023 schedule and you can check that here, while one more team has also been added to the upcoming tournament.
Adding to the seven teams that played in PVL 2022, there’s the Mumbai Meteors that will be added to PVL Season 2, hoping to add a little bit of more spice to the competition. Every team in the Prime Volleyball League is made up of attackers, blockers, universal, setters, and libero. And all the eight teams in the PVL Season 2 competition comprise of a squad of 12 players each
Prime Volleyball League 2023 Squads
Each of the PVL 2023 teams could retain only 3 players each before the second season. And considering there was a new team in the mix as well, it was imperative to host a player’s draft which took place on 13 Oct 2022. More than 500 players registered to the draft and from them, the top 96 players will participate in this edition of the competition. See the PVL 2023 squads below:
