David Beckham Spotted At Wimbledon 2022

We all love The Championships Wimbledon and this year’s tournament has reached the business end with the quarter finals currently on in both the men’s as well as women’s draws. Today, there was one quarter final game taking place in the men’s draw – that of Taylor Fritz vs Rafael Nadal – and some big names from the sporting fraternity were in attendance.

While a number of former tennis stars were present through Wimbledon 2022 including Roger Federer to celebrate 100 years of the center court, we saw some other sporting stars in attendance too. Among them was former Manchester United and England national team footballer and current co-owner of Inter Miami CF and Salford City, David Beckham.

He was also seen supporting the English side at the Euro 2020 tournament held last year. Today, he was spotted along with his mother Sandra Georgina West at this Wimbledon 2022 game.

It’s no wonder that all these top stars want to be at the Wimbledon 2022 action because we’ve seen some high-octane tennis taking place over the last week and more. Today is Wimbledon 2022 Day 10 and quite a few chances for lower ranked players popped up as top stars were absent due to Covid-19, injuries, and the ban on Russian and Belarus players.

Among them was Taylor Fritz who is just 24 years old and was not among the players you would’ve expected to reach the quarter final stage here. He hadn’t lost a single set coming into this clash against Nadal and even won the opening set against the King of Clay. Nadal was obviously struggling with some injury and wasn’t 100% fit, but still came back strong to win the second set and level the game.

That was the game status at the time of us writing this but we’re sure to put together an update once we know who our first men’s semi finalist of 2022 will be. Considering it’s still early days and there are bigger matches to come in this tournament, we may see many more celebrities present at the games over the next few days.
