Tennis events in India are slowly increasing and one of the important tournaments on the annual calendar is the ATP Challenger Bengaluru also known as the Bengaluru Open. Now, the competition has signed on the subsidiary of a leading sports betting website as their title sponsor for the 2023 tournament as well as locking in the partnership for 3 years.
The tournament will now be called the DafaNews Bengaluru Open 2023 as the partnership begins from this edition of the event which takes place between 19-26 Feb 2023. India’s only prestigious ATP Challenger tennis event, Bengaluru Open begins from 20th Feb with the qualifiers taking place prior to that. Chinese Taipei’s Tseng Chun-hsin is the top seed at the tournament, while Swedish legend Bjorn Borg’s son Leo Borg will also be in action, along with a few local Indian players coming in as wildcard entries.
Organised by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA), the Bengaluru Open has been taking place since 2015 and now, DafaNews will help further promote the growth of this sport across India. DafaNews plays an important role in the Indian sports setup, playing the role of sponsor of a number of sporting franchise in the ISL and other leagues, now expanding into tennis as well.
