For a very long time now, there have been rumours and speculation about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at his current club Juventus in the Italian professional league. And it’s been intensifying now especially since he’s 36 years old now and more so after his rival Lionel Messi made a move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in France.
After increased doubts about his future with the club, fans inevitably started linking him with a transfer back to Real Madrid or Manchester United, where he spent most of his peak years. However, the fun began when the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City also joined the race to have the world-class striker in their squads.

The question will always remain about whether or not Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Manchester United or not?! However, it’s unlikely to ever happen because it’s been more than a decade since he left and never looked back. While our answer is a hardcore NO to the answer of this question, you can never ever rule out a sensational return because Old Trafford will always be ready to welcome him back again.
Right now, PSG is one of the front-runners while Manchester City is also likely to get him on board. However, the options are narrowing because both of them have already made big signings this month. After long tenures with United and Real Madrid in the past, Ronaldo has only spent three years in Italy and he’s ready to move on now.
Today seemed to be the final nail in the coffin as we heard reports about Ronaldo not starting in tonight’s Juventus Serie A game because he requested not to. Which basically means it’s only a few days now before Ronaldo bids adieu to his current club in Italy. We hope he doesn’t go the same route as Messi and end up becoming a free agent.
