There was a statement from the football club as well. “Together with Betway we agreed on a long-term partnership, which guarantees us security through the new legal regulation of gaming in Germany. We are delighted to have gained a strong partner in Betway in this everchanging competitions,” said Alexander Jobst, board member for Schalke’s Marketing, Sales and Organization.
It’s a big move for everyone involved with the bookmaker as well as with the football club. This announcement came shortly after Betway’s deal to sponsor the upcoming Hamburg Open, which means an increased presence in tennis as well.
