Every year, the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) takes place before the start of the men’s tournament. It’s not got a very long history so far, this competition, but we’ve seen some exciting individual performances being registered. On this page, we’re going to explore some of these performances, particularly those coming from the batters.
Over the years, there have been 30+ individual men’s CPL centuries and we’ve listed down all of those. The women’s competition has a much shorter history and because of that, we’ve witnessed only 1 WCPL century till date, while the first WCPL season only saw one individual fifty – a top score of 59 from Deandra Dottin.
New Zealand’s Sophie Devine changed the game in WCPL 2023 with that smashing century, in a tournament that still has only 4 individual fifties. The veteran batter hit 103(64)* for GAW Women in an innings that included 10 fours and as many as 5 sixes. This remains the only Women’s CPL century till date and of course, the highest score in the competition too.
Devine has made big scores across the world including 99 once in a WPL match for Royal Challengers Bangalore. It’s no surprise that she became the first every WCPL centurion. There are many overseas stars that participate here and we may see a few more of them getting WCPL hundreds before any of the local West Indian batters get there.

That single WCPL season she played also got her in the top three run scorers in the history of the league, while it’s Hayley Matthews who sits at the top of that WCPL most runs list right now. Matthews is the only other player to have come close to joining the WCPL centuries list, getting 82(59) in a WCPL 2023 match a week or so after Devine founded this list. We’ve seen plenty of growth in women’s cricket over the last year or so, and we think that can lead to a few more entries in the Women’s CPL centuries list in seasons to come. Devine got to her WCPL century in spectacular fashion, finishing off her team’s innings with a six to bring up three figures. Take a look at that moment here:
