For years now, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been one of the worst performing teams in the Indian Premier League. Of course, they’ve reached the finals a couple of times in the past but sadly, that silverware still eludes them! They’ve tried all possible permutations and combinations and still, there’s been no answer.
The IPL 2016 season was the last time RCB was good in the field and now, they’re gearing out for yet another season as IPL 2020 is scheduled in UAE between 19 Sep – 10 Nov 2020! Earlier this morning, there was news of Kane Richardson pulling out of IPL 2020 in order to be with his wife as the couple expects their first child.
Immediately, RCB announced leg-spinner and Aussie countryman Adam Zampa as a replacement and we think that this little guy could be the difference to RCB this season. While most of the bowlers are usually taken to the cleaners, a lot of responsibility usually comes upon the shoulders of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. With another leggie in the side, could that burden and pressure be lifted a bit?! We think so!
