The Australian cricket team is currently in Dhaka for the 2021 Australia tour of Bangladesh and the team was supported cheering on Mitchell’s younger brother Brandon, who is an athlete at the ongoing 2021 Olympic Games.

The 27-year old Brandon Starc was participating in the men’s high jump event and he qualified from the group stages to make the men’s high jump final. The final was played yesterday and unfortunately, Starc finished just short of an Olympic medal, jumping a height of 2.35m and finishing 5th in the final, while the winner’s jump stood at 2.37m.

Australia is playing a 5-match T20I series at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka which begins on 3rd August 2021 and the team was spotted during a practice session watching Brandon Starc’s efforts at Tokyo 2020.
