After a very successful first edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC T20), we’re back with the second edition of this league which has been designed specifically for retired cricketers. The firs edition of LLC T20 took place earlier this year and now, we’re set for a bigger and better LLC T20 Season 2, which will have more teams and obviously, a bigger pool of players from the past years.
It was only a couple of weeks ago that we spoke about some new signings for LLC T20 Season 2. This included the likes of Nepal’s Paras Khadka, South Africa’s Jacques Kallis, Sri Lanka’s Chaminda Vaas, Zimbabwe’s Christopher Mpofu and Elton Chigumbura, New Zealand’s Mitchell McClenaghan and Ian Butler, India’s Laxmi Ratan Shukla, and many others. Legends League Cricket Season 2 Dates
We knew that the tournament would take place sometime in Sep/Oct 2022 but the LLC Season 2 dates have finally been confirmed on the league’s social media as well as their official website. Apart from the Asia Lions, India Maharajas, and World Giants, there will be a fourth team being added and they will all be in the franchise format, privately owned teams.
With more money coming in, we’re expecting bigger players and before the tournament begins, there will be a LLC Season 2 Players’ Draft as well. As of now, the Legends League Cricket Season 2 dates have been confirmed for 17 Sep – 8 Oct 2022, this time being held in India as compared to Oman for the first edition. A total of 6 cities will host LLC T20 Season 2 games including Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Cuttack, Jodhpur, and Rajkot.

Legends League Cricket Season 2 Schedule
As of now, the players and even the four franchise teams are yet to be announced, considering there’s over a month left to finalise these details (updated as of 11th August 2022). Read Scoops will be following this tournament on a daily basis and we’ll come back to update this page as and when these details come in, including LLC T20 Season 2 schedule.
Considering there will be four franchise teams and there will be rest days because these are not actively playing professionals, we could expect a double round robin format before we move into the LLC Season 2 final. We’re expecting 110 players to be a part fo the tournament, with 50+ players already confirmed, some of which you can see above.
