Gujarat cricket fans will be on top of the world as they managed to win Qualifier 2 at Ahmedabad today to book a slot in the IPL 2023 final, where they will face off against Chennai Super Kings. Gujarat Titans had an all-round brilliant day in the field at their home ground and completed a 62-run win against Mumbai Indians, courtesy mainly a third IPL 2023 century from Shubman Gill.
Gill scored 129 which was the highest score in IPL 2023 and he also took over the Orange Cap, overtaking Faf du Plessis. David Miller kisses Shubman Gill
It seems like there’s plenty of bromances taking place in the Gujarat Titans side, as captain Pandya kissed David Miller earlier in the game after the latter took a stunning catch. Post that, Miller was seen planting a kiss on Gill’s face as the two teams were greeting each other and having a few candid conversations among themselves.
Gujarat knocked Mumbai Indians out of the tournament and Gill’s 129 was a main reason for it, followed by a 5/10 spell from Mohit Sharma. 851 runs from Gill in the tournament and that’s why everyone’s showering him with a lot of love, including his opponents. A lot of the MI cricketers were seen laughing and chatting with Gill after the game, including MI opener Ishan Kishan who is Gill’s close friend.

Miller didn’t have a big role to play in today’s Qualifier 2 because GT scored 233/3 and Miller didn’t even need to be at the crease. Gill was obviously awarded the Man of the Match for today’s knock and when he was being interviewed in the post match presentation, he mentioned that he believed today was his best IPL knock till date.
