Right at the top, Shai Hope doesn’t have the best of records here with only 66 runs in 4 matches but we think he’ll be a worthy addition to your WI vs SL Dream11 team today because he has a great overall international record. Another person with great experience from various leagues across the world is Fabian Allen and his all-round skills make him a vital selection as well for today’s game.

Sri Lanka

After a couple of thirties in the T20 series, we think Pathum Nissanka would be worth picking in our BatBall11 (Code “READ123“) WI vs SL 1st ODI fantasy team but he’s likely to bat lower down rather than opening the innings in this format. The side is being led by Dimuth Karunaratne and while he’ll always make my team in Test matches, I’ll leave him out for this 1st ODI today at Antigua.

Wanindu Hasaranga spun a web around the West Indians in the T20 series with 8 wickets in just 3 games and after such an amazing outing, we can’t leave him out especially since he can contribute with the bat if given the chance as well. Talking about all-round abilities, there’s the veteran Thisara Perera in the side and he’s likely to get a spot too, coming off an outrageous LPL 2020 season for his side.
