It’s been a slow start to the T20 Blast 2020 with most of the matches being washed out due to rain but we’re hoping for better support from the weather Gods as we move into the third day of play in this tournament. It’s going to be Durham in action in Match 14 which is a North Group clash, and Durham played the only game which saw a result this season so far, losing to Lancashire by 27 runs in that game!
Today, they’ll be up against Nottinghamshire and this team will be playing their first game after their last one was washed out by rain, so be careful of team combinations and keep an eye out on the toss for last minute changes if required for this match being played at Chester-le-Street. Durham
The side is being led by Aussie pacer Nathan Rimmington and he’s expected to be among the wickets as well because of all his experience at various T20 leagues, also having picked a wicket in their opening game of the 2020 Vitality Blast. The bowling attack however will be led by Mark Wood who is now a regular part of the national side and his bowling returns of 1/24 in 4 overs in the last game shows how good he is.
South Africa’s David Bedingham has been in good form and had 2 fifties in his last 3 FC games for Durham as well, while also scoring 33 in the last game for them so he’s going to be vital in the middle order. The superstars batsman for them right now however is Alex Lees who is in red hot form with continuous fifties across formats and a couple of centuries as well, with a top score of 181 in an FC game last August for Durham.
Nottinghamshire
This team will begin as favourites as they have a few T20 specialist players including their captain Daniel Christian who has experience of several T20 leagues across the world though he had a very mediocre Big Bash earlier this year. Another very capable all-rounder in the side is former English international Samit Patel who will be more vital with the ball but he can still hit the big shots with the bat if needed.

They also have the young Ben Duckett who can fill the wicket-keeper spot of your Nostragamus (Use “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy team and remember, he smashed an FC hundred earlier this month as well. One high value player in the side could be Matthew Carter because he’s not as well known as the rest of these big names but he was their highest wicket-taker last season with 14 scalps in 11 games!
