SCO-W vs TYP-W | Women’s Super 50 2021 | 25 Apr

Last year, we had the hybrid format of this Ireland Women’s Super Series tournament, where two teams battled it out in T20 and ODD formats over a period of time. This year, the tournament returns but there are some changes, as the ODD tournament will be played first between 25 April – 6 June 2021. Following that will be the T20 tournament that is scheduled between 25 July – 15 August 2021.

Scorchers Women is one of the teams in action in this series and they will be the stronger of the two teams because they have alot of players that have international experience as compared to their opponents, Typhoons Women. The tournament will be played in UAE this year because of Covid-19! Keep reading for our complete My11Circle (Get Rs.500 FREE*) fantasy preview of the SCO-W vs TYP-W game…

Scorchers Women

Leading the side is 20-year old Gaby Lewis who scored 2 fifties in this tournament last year and picked a wicket as well. While she hasn’t played any cricket since then, she’s a must in our SCO-W vs TYP-W fantasy team because of her all-round abilities and international exposure. Your wicket-keeper pick can come from this side as Shauna Kavanagh is a good talent who had a best score of 69* in the last season.

Topping the run scoring charts for the 2020 Super 50 Cup was Leah Paul who may not have much of experience for Ireland Women but she had 2 fifties last season and being one of the most consistent batters, she should make your SCO-W vs TYP-W Dream11 team. If you want to know you topped the bowling charts for them, it was Sophie MacMahon who had 11 scalps and finished second in the tournament count.

Typhoons Women

With 244 runs in 7 games, another youngster who proved herself in the last season was Rebecca Stokell and she’s one of my first picks from this team to make your My11Circle (Get Rs.500 FREE*) SCO-W vs TYP-W fantasy team today. Close behind her on the run scoring charts with 2 fifties last season along with 7 wickets in 8 games is the captain Laura Delany who can be picked as fantasy captain or vice-captain!

Though she’s only 18 years old right now, Orla Prendergast impressed one and all last season and we can expect her to do the same here. She had 158 runs and 10 wickets in that season and could be your fantasy captain or vice-captain today. If you want an added batting options, there’s always Rachel Delaney who got 2 fifties last season and will be dependable with the bat in this tournament.
