On paper, SA is a clear favourite but there’s plenty to play for for them, including a spot in the semi final after their loss to Pakistan, and also the chance to go on top of Group 2 points table.

As for Netherlands, they’ve got one win in their 4 games and it’s all over for them, but they’d like to bow out in style and go home as a happy squad. It’s their chance to play party poopers for the SA side and even a washed out game could mean trouble for SA, since Pakistan would then just need to win by a decent margin to go through. At the top of the order, Rilee Rossouw will have good memories here because he got 78 runs in his only T20I innings at the Adelaide Oval. And in the last game, we saw the slight return to form for the SA captain Temba Bavuma who got a 30+ score after what seemed like ages. We expect him to capitalise on that form when he’s up against not the most dangerous attack in the world, so pick these two in your SA vs NED fantasy team.

With the ball, the pace of Anrich Nortje may just become a little bit too much to handle for the Dutch batsman. Up against Pakistan, Nortje went for too many runs and was smashed across the park but he still got 4 wickets, and that’s why he makes our SA vs NED Dream11 team too. It’s likely that David Miller will be fit today so he can be picked and for another bowling option, there’s Lungi Ngidi whose slower balls are doing the trick of late.

Netherlands

First person on the team sheet for you should be Bas de Leede who played the last game despite getting hit on the head against Pakistan. The youngster got 2/14 in 4 overs against Zimbabwe and he is great with the bat too, so he’s a good gamble to pick as fantasy captain. Playing against his former country, it’s a big day for all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe and we expect a bigger contribution from him than just the 1 over he bowled in the last game.

While he hasn’t had much of an impact on this tournament so far, Tom Cooper scored 30-odd in the last game and with that confidence, we expect him to get a few more today.
