It’s been a long tour of New Zealand 2020/21 for Pakistan A and the team is now all set to play the final tour game before they head back. They won the unofficial test and then lost the first couple of T20s only to make a strong comeback by winning the next two, now level 2-2 as we head into the 5th and final T20. They’ll be playing New Zealand XI once again, who they faced in the 4th T20 too.
The last couple of games in this series were played at Lincoln and we’ll be playing this game at the same ground too, where 170-180 is going to be the minimum target the team batting first will want to achieve. New Zealand XI
One of the most exciting young prospects recently out of the U-19 setup is Rhys Mariu who has got so many good scores and when presented with the chance to play these good Pakistan bowlers, he scored 48 at the top of the order, so is a good pick for your NZ-XI vs PK-A fantasy team. Captain Jeet Raval scored only 10 in the last game but he’s the most experienced player in this side and should be picked as well.
With 0/50 being given away in 4 overs, it was the best day at the office for Jarrod McKay but he’s definitely in my NZ-XI vs PK-A fantasy team because of the fact that he won’t be picked by too many teams today. If you want another bowling option, select Ryan Harrison who bagged a wicket in the last game and he’s one who can come in late down the order and hit a few long balls as well.
Pakistan A
Four games in this T20 series and though he got a couple of failures, Haider Ali also managed to get a couple of fifties and he’s one of the first picks in my BatBall11 (Code “READ123“) NZ-XI vs PK-A fantasy team since he’s super talented and recently made his international debut too. It’s been a real disappointing tour for Khushdil Shah and after picking him in every game, we’ll finally skip him today.

Instead, let’s look at picking Amad Butt who has been great in domestic tournaments in Pakistan and he played a great cameo in the 4th T20 where he scored 25(6)* lower down the order and he bagged a wicket in that game too. With the ball, pick Mohammad Hasnain who got only 1 wicket in his first 3 games and after a few expensive affairs, he bowled well and got 1/16 in 3 overs in the last game.
