After a magnificent and stunning CWC 2019, Shakib al Hasan is yet to set the stage alight in this tournament with only 2 wickets and 16 runs in 2 games, including being hit for 30 in an over by Ryan Burl. However, his involvement in the game is massive and it’s a sin to drop this player in fantasy contests. Another vital all-rounder in this set-up is the 19-year old Afif Hossain, who has broken records in the BPL in previous years.
Hossain comes into this series with a couple of fifties and a century while also having 68 runs in 2 games here including a 52 in Game 1. However, he’s also known for his bowling skills but it seems unlikely he will be used. Pick Mosaddek Hossain who has 42 runs in this series including a best of 30* and a wicket to his name too. Liton Das played a defining knock in one of the games at CWC 2019 and he’s worth selecting too.
Zimbabwe
Captain Hamilton Masakadza announced his retirement from international cricket and since then, has scores of 34 and 3. I’ll pick him in my Nostragamus (sign-up with “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy picks as we expect him to head out with a bang. However, all-rounders are key so before Masakadza, make sure you pick Sean Williams in your fantasy side, contributor with bat and ball both.
With 2 and 0 with the bat so far, Williams has failed miserably but he’s an important part of the middle order and also has 2 wickets to his name this series. Dream11 now awards double the points for bowlers, so don’t miss out on him. Brendan Taylor is probably the most experienced player in this side, so if your fantasy league allows picking two wicket-keepers, choose him and Liton Das both.
