This is probably one of the longest running T20 tournaments of all time. The 2020 Pakistan Super League began way back in February and had to come to a halt because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, we’re all set to finally resume the PSL 2020 season with just 4 matches left. What was originally supposed to be a semi final format is now a playoffs format with Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2 and FINAL pending.
Multan Sultans ended up topping the PSL 2020 points table with 6 wins in 10 games and that’s the reason they secured a qualifier berth in the playoffs while very close to them is Karachi Kings who secured 5 wins in their 10 games in the round robin stage. However, Mahmudullah went on to test positive for Covid-19 and will miss this game after all the trouble he went to to make it here. Another change they made was bringing in England opening batsman Adam Lyth to replace Fabian Allen who is currently with SRH in the Dream11 IPL 2020 season in Dubai.
The side is being captained by Shan Masood and he’s a must have in your MUL vs KAR fantasy team because he’s been in good touch, especially after scoring that test century in England a few months back. South Africa’s Imran Tahir will be raring to go after not getting too many games in IPL 2020 while Shahid Afridi will be in the squad as well, getting a chance to play professional cricket after several months.

With 345 runs in just 9 games in the round robin stage of the PSL 2020, Babar Azam was the leading scorer of the tournament prior to the break and he’s in great touch now as well, with four consecutive 50+ scores against Zimbabwe (not including 3rd T20I). Some of the squad changes they’ve made include getting Sherfane Rutherford in for Chris Jordan, while Waqas Maqsood was roped in for USA’ Ali Khan who is injured.
