Chennai Super Kings

We’ve seen in the past that Ruturaj Gaikwad can be a slow starter and after his duck in the last game, we’ll gamble and keep him out today. On the other hand, Robin Uthappa played a good knock of 28(22) after the openers went cheaply, so we hope the CSK management will promote him to open the batting with Gaikwad. Talking about promotions, we saw new captain Ravindra Jadeja batting at #5 in the last game and given his international form in recent months, this may continue through IPL 2022.

We saw some good pace from Tushar Deshpande who hit the deck hard in his 0/23 in three overs in the last game.
