It’s going to be a fun next couple of days as the top 36 players in the country of Hong Kong take part in the Epic Group All-Stars T20 Series 2021 where they will be divided into 3 teams of 12 players each. These teams include Kowloon Lions, New Territories Tigers, and Hong Kong Islanders which means that teams will be playing back-to-back games as well, with 2 games scheduled a day between 26-27 March.
They’ll play each other once each and the top two will participate in the final on 27 March 2021. All games will be played at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Kowloon and Match 1 will take place between Kowloon Lions and New Territories Tigers at this same venue. They have Australian born Dan Pascoe in the side who hasn’t gone wicketless in any of his last 8 T20s for Kowloon CC and that’s a fabulous record, so he can’t really be left out of our KOL vs NTT Dream11 team either. Along with him, we see an x-factor pick in Mehran Zeb who is fresh off the U-19 circuit and doesn’t have big numbers yet but he surely has the potential to cause damage with the ball in this tournament.
New Territories Tigers
The Mumbai-born Kinchit Shah is leading this team and he’s also got fantastic all-round abilities with a couple of fifties in his last 3 T20 games while he managed to get 5 wickets in those games as well. He’s another fantasy captain option for today’s game while Babar Hayat is a must have with the bat as well. He got a lowest score of 34 in his last 4 T20 games while recently also played at PPL tournament in Pokhara, Nepal.
