In the absence of Yuzi Chahal, Ravi Ashwin or Kuldeep Yadav may be selected as the lead spinner and both as loopy spinners. There’s also the dilemma of picking either of Avesh Khan or Arshdeep Singh and consider the pitch will be on the slower side, we think Singh could have a good outing here. Ravindra Jadeja missed the ODI series due to fitness issues and if he’s rested again, Axar Patel will gladly keep his spot. With the bat, Deepak Hooda has been in good touch so we’re picking him as he’s been bowling too, while Dinesh Karthik will be eager to prove himself and get a spot in the T20 World Cup squad.
West Indies
Biggest positive for the hosts is that Shimron Hetmyer is back in the side after clearing his fitness test, while Evin Lewis continues to miss out. After getting a few good knocks at the top of the order in the white ball formats, we think that Kyle Mayers is likely to keep the opening spot, and he makes our IND vs WI 1st T20 Dream11 team because he’s played a lot of cricket here and his big hitting style suits the T20 format as well.

Jason Holder has the most experience in this side and the tendency to bat up the order in T20 cricket if needed as well.
