The Karnataka Premier League has been replaced with a new tournament organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). It has some of the best players in the state divided into six teams and will run between 7-26 Aug 2022. We’re talking about the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2022, and the action begins today with a double header. Remember, all games will take place at Mysuru and Bengaluru.

Captaining the side is former Team India bowling all-rounder Abhimanyu Mithun who is super experienced, even representing a couple of teams in the IPL over the years. Right arm pacer Zahoor Farooqui played for the Panthers in 2019 when KPL last took place. Another consistent batsman over the years, we have Ravikumar Samarth who has been handed the captaincy duties for Mangalore.
