We have 6 regional franchise teams in action in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League and they will battle it out between 18 Aug to 10 Sep 2020 where a total of 33 T20s will be played at different venues across the Caribbean islands.
We have Trinbago Knight Riders in action in Match 1 of the 2020 CPL T20 and this is undoubtedly the most successful team in the history of the Hero CPL T20. As for their opponents, it’s Guyana Amazon Warriors who is the runner-up team of CPL 2019 and we’re set to begin CPL 2020 on a cracking note. The Bravo brothers have been the heart of this Trinbago team over the years but and Dwayne Bravo returned to the West Indies international side earlier this year after a long injury break and with 7 wickets in 5 international T20s, we know he was in good rhythm. In the batting order, Lendl Simmons is among the most experienced players, playing at several T20 leagues and also finishing 2nd in the CPL 2019 run scorer’s list.
New Zealand wicket-keeper Tim Seifert can be extremely explosive in the T20 format and with a recent good stint in the recent home series against India, we can expect him to do really well in CPL 2020 as well. They’re being captained by Kieron Pollard this year and while he’ll concentrate more on the batting, they have Zimbabwean star player Sikander Raza – easily among the top all-rounders in the world right now.

In CPL 2019, we had Brandon King and Chandrapul Hemraj at the top of the order that led them to victory in most cases but since then, Hemraj hasn’t had much to do while King went on to make the national side too. He top scored last season with 496 runs in 12 games and he should be in your TKR vs GUY fantasy team. Overseas batting pick Ross Taylor had 2 fifties and a century in the home tour against India early this year, so pick him too!
