GRD vs BGR Dream11 Team – VPL T10 2020 | 7 Nov

One of the first tournaments to be played during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Vincy T10 Premier League (VPL T10) was a success when it was hosted a few months back. However, they’re back for VPL 2.0 this year as another edition takes place between 7-22 November. The same 6 franchises will battle it out in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during which 30 T10 games will be contested – 2 a day.

In the opening game of VPL T10 2020, we have Grenadine Divers in action and this team was one of the poorest in the opening season where they got 2 wins in 8 games and they’re now taking on Botanic Gardens Rangers. The latter managed 5 wins in 8 games last season. Each team has one marquee player and you can keep reading for our complete BatBall11 (Code “READ123) fantasy preview of the GDR vs BGR game…

Grenadine Divers

Like we mentioned, each team has a marquee player and for this side, it’s Obed McCoy who is an upcoming left-arm pacer who has experience playing for West Indies A and the U-19 side as well, and he picked 8 wickets in 10 games in the last season. However, the hero of the season or them last time was Asif Hooper who was the leader with both bat and ball for the side, with 11 wickets and 251 runs in 10 games.

In T10 fantasy cricket, the more batsmen the better so it’s best to see who will be opening the batting for the side. Alex Samuel had a good season for them last time but he doesn’t seem to be in the squad right now. After him, we had Shem Browne who scored 115 runs in that last season and he’s a good option with the bat while we think Geron Whyllie is worth including in your GRD vs BGR fantasy team too.

Botanic Gardens Rangers

The side had Kesrick Williams in the last edition but now, he’s no longer in the side with Kenneth Dember taking over as the marquee player. He’s also worth adding to your BatBall11 (Code “READ123) fantasy team since he had 115 runs in the last edition while getting a couple of 2-fers with the ball as well. Also, don’t forget to pick last tournament’s higher scorer – Hyron Shallow.

We don’t want too many bowlers but someone who bowled in every game in the last edition was Kimali Williams and we can pick him for that reason, even though he only managed 2 scalps in the tournament. Keron Cottoy had a poor season with the bat in the last edition but he’s got plenty of domestic experience to go with experience of playing in the CPL T20, so he’s someone worth picking today as well.
