English T20 Blast 2020 - KET vs HAM Fantasy Preview

The English T20 Blast 2020 is finally here and we have a packed schedule with a total of 97 T20 waiting to be played out in this season, with 18 teams divided into groups of 6 teams each. The first couple of matches are South Group ones and in Match 1, we have defending champs Essex taking on Middlesex at Chelmsford. Simultaneously, Match 2 will also be played at another venue at the same starting time.

It’s Kent Spitfire who will be in action in Match 2 and they’ll be playing Hampshire in what’s expected to be a pretty good game of cricket at Centerbury. Historically, Kent have had a little bit of an edge recently and they’ll begin as slight favourites today as well. With the bat, it was Daniel Bell-Drummond who led the charts for this team at the 2019 Vitality T20 Blast and we expect him to be among the runs once again though he hasn’t hit a fifty for Kent since August 2019. Along with him, we should have Zak Crawley in our KET vs HAM fantasy teams because of his recent double century against Pakistan. He had 300+ runs last season and could easily better that this season!

Sam Billings are Joe Denly are part of the squad but you shouldn’t pick them today as they will be playing in the English squad against Pakistan for the T20I series. Imran Qayyum picked 12 wickets in 9 games last season and recently also picked 5 wickets in 2 games for MCC in Lahore.

Hampshire

Among the most experienced players in this side is James Vince who recently played for England in the 3-match ODI series against Ireland and got starts in all games. He has a phenomenal record for Hampshire and should certainly be picked while Liam Dawson is another experienced player worth picking as fantasy captain or vice-captain as both of them haven’t been picked for the England T20I side and are available today.
