So after two match-winning innings, Jos Buttler has been granted leave to be with his family which means Tom Banton is expected to come back to the top of the order where he’s much more effective. After 137 runs in 3 games against Pakistan, Banton has only 10 runs in 2 games here at the top! We’re skipping Jonny Bairstow, who has struggled of late with only 17 runs in his last 3 T20Is and 4 single-digit scores in his last 5 games.

Captain Eoin Morgan is also unsure for this game after dislocating a finger in the last game. Sam Billings could fill in in the middle order and Moeen Ali could take over a captain and we expect the latter to be able to perform better with the added responsibility. We’ve seen the ball spin a bit and that’s why we’re picking Adil Rashid as well, who has 3 wickets in 2 games and has gone at barely above 6 runs per over this series!

Australia

Talking about spinners, Ashton Agar is the top bowler of this series so far with 4 wickets in 2 games and if he manages to get a few runs, it would be an added bonus. We’ve also seen the explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell being thrown the ball in both games and he’s not gone for too many, with 2 wickets for 30 runs in 5 games. He had a century in one of the warm-up games so he’s clearly in form with the bat too!
