Vernon Philander and Rory Kleinveldt have not only been among the wickets but they are also the most experienced bowlers in the Cobras team as well as in the league. Both of the them are not only picking wickets this year but they are also managing to swing a few deliveries out of the ground lower down the order when Cobras lose wickets.
One player who makes a return to the team is Hashim Amla but he hasn’t been among the runs at all. 7 innings for the Cobras in the last month and his total is just 89 runs, with a best score of 32. Clearly, he won’t be a part of my fantasy team but a good player to pick instead is Janneman Malan, who has also scored a century in the 2019 CSA T20.
Titans
Theunis de Bruyn is the highest run scorer of the tournament so far and his 72* in the last game is a sign of how well he has been playing all season, at an average of 63+. Farhaan Behardien is the captain but he hasn’t been getting too much of a chance to bat since the Titans top order have been firing on all cylinders, so I’ll keep Behardien out of today’s team.
Henry Davids is another good option, so I’ll pack my fantasy team with more Titans batsmen and lesser Cobras bowlers. In the 2019 CSA T20, Junior Dala hasn’t been the best but his exuberance and his pace could get plenty of batsmen in trouble here so I’ll definitely pick him for my team.
