Lions play host to Titans in Match 15 of the 2019 CSA T20 Challenge and usually, the hosts would be petrified as they are up against Titans, a team that has been the best in South African domestic cricket, since years. However, it hasn’t been a great year for Titans so far. Why? They narrowly lost their opening game, won one and have two games with no results. Outcome? Lions are placed higher on the points table.
Now most fantasy cricket players haven’t really enjoyed this series so far as quite a few games have been affected by rain. However much they are underdogs against Lions, they have some players in brilliant form. Two players who haven’t fired yet but are still huge assets to the team include Rassie van der Dussen and Reeza Hendricks. I’ll back the latter and he is my captain for today.
Their bowlers and all-rounders have also been brilliant this season, including Bjorn Fortuin, who has 8 wickets in 4 games so far. Pick both all-rounders Wiaan Mulder and Dwaine Pretorius as they are handy with both bat and ball. Remember however, Beuran Hendricks is NOT part of the Lions squad for tonight’s encounter against Titans.
Titans
Titans could be in for another rare loss as they haven’t got any game time in their last two games in the 2019 CSA T20. Henry Davids is one of the celebrity players of this highly talented Titans line-up, having already scored a fifty this season so far. In addition, he has been used with the ball too, so he becomes a good captain/vice-captain choice as well.
Now one player who isn’t a great name but has been scoring consistently is Diego Rosier. Generally a part-time bowler, Rosier hasn’t bowled this season but his consistency means he has to be a part of your fantasy side tonight. Junior Dala seems to be hitting the right spots at the moment and I wouldn’t miss this player either.
