Earlier today, the internet spotted that choreographer Dhanashree Verma decided to change her Instagram name and remove her husband’s surname from it. For those who don’t know, se got married in 2020 to leading Indian leg-spinning bowler Yuzvendra Chahal. Now, Dhanashree removing ‘Chahal’ from her name has sparked a lot of controversy.
More than controversy, we’ve been enjoying the memes on social media, the latter having gone into a complete frenzy ever since this latest discovery. From A-Z, trollers have covered every topic possible, with all the speculations in the world as well. And to make matters worse, Chahal further added to this by posting a cryptic message on his Instagram story, saying ‘New Life Loading’.
Dhanashree Verma removes ‘Chahal’ from Instagram
The dancer is often seen around the Indian dressing room and also now the Rajasthan Royals dressing room, supporting her husband and also spending a lot of time with his teammates. And while it’s a great gesture from her to support her husband, the internet has taken complete advantage and made speculations of her being with his teammates, and hence the change in surname.
Chahal adding to his story further added spice to all of these speculations and while it’s all looking like a little bit of trouble in paradise, the internet is having a field day. In particular, Shreyas Iyer seems to have found himself in the middle of the mess as he’s seen to have spent a lot of time with Dhanashree through posts on social media reels and stories.

Dhanashree’s last post on Instagram also had a caption saying, “A princess will always turn her pain into power.” We’re not sure if this is some kind of publicity stunt or whether there’s actually trouble between the married couple. Either way, Chahal will be in action at the 2022 Asia Cup in UAE starting 28th Aug, and we’ll see if she’s there to support him once again. See some of the memes below:

While most of the memes included the time she has been spending with Shreyas Iyer, quite a few of them included Jos Buttler too. The latter was seen in a lot of videos during the IPL 2022 season, as he also plays for the Rajasthan franchise. A lot of users also started spreading false rumours of the couple filing for divorce in a Punjab court.

Those who weren’t a part of the trolling also told users that just because she posed for pictures with Chahal’s teammates, doesn’t make her a cheat. At the same time, she’s also got up and cheered for every wicket he’s taken, whether in the IPL or when playing for India.
