The glamour levels were at a all-time high at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Firstly, Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was out there right from the start, supporting her husband. Sara Tendulkar cheers on Shubman in semi final 1

Not for the first time in this CWC 2023 tournament, Sara Tendulkar was present once again to cheer on her rumoured boyfriend in Team India opener, Shubman Gill. The cameramen would pan their cameras towards her every time he scored a four or six, which means quite a few times during the first 15 overs. Gill struggled with an injury and retired out later on 79*.

Kohli pushed on after his fifty and marched towards a record 50th ODI century, which would become history as no one else in cricketing history has got there before him. In the meantime, the list of celebrities at the Wankhede kept growing as we saw South Indian actor Venkatesh Dagubatti sitting by himself and enjoying the action. Venkatesh was recently seen in Netflix series, Rana Naidu.

Venkatesh also posted a selfie with Sir Viv Richards to his Twitter account, the latter being invited to spend some time on-air in the commentary box as well. For more updates on the CWC 2023 and other cricketing stories from around the world, remember to always stay tuned to ReadScoops.com.
