The second edition of the World Test Championship is coming to an end and with that, the WTC 2023 Final is all set to kick off in London. Thanks to a great final series between them same two sides, it’s going to be an India vs Australia final at the Kennington Oval between 7-11 June 2023 and it’s surely going to be an exciting affair.
India won the last home series quite convincingly but now, it’s a neutral venue and historically, India hasn’t always been the best in England Test matches. Now, we have the list of commentators announced by the Star Sports team, those who will be a part of the broadcasting team for both English as well as Hindi broadcasts. Keep reading for all details.
WTC Final 2023 commentators
The English panel of commentators on the Star Sports broadcast team will include the usual names like Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Nasser Hussain, Dinesh Karthik, Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden, Justin Langer, and Kumar Sangakkara. These players have all enjoyed past commentary stints across the world and there were no surprises seeing their names on the list.
The Hindi panel has also been announced and this also includes some very big names and past cricketers including former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly. He will be joined by Harbhajan Singh, S Sreesanth, Jatin Sapru, and Deep Dasgupta. This combination is sure to keep everyone interested over the 5 days of this historic Test match.

Ganguly has spent a lot of time in various cricketing roles in the BCCI and ICC and other bodies, and now it’s going to be fun to see him commentating on the game, which is the second such WTC Final. In the first final a couple of years ago, it was India vs New Zealand and there, the latter ended up winning quite easily. Now, it’s a chance for India to redeem themselves.
