We also put up a list of the most career runs in The Ashes and we’re not surprised that the man who tops that list in Sir Donald Bradman, also tops the list for the most Ashes centuries, with as many as 19 to his name, and no one seeming close to passing his record. Check out our complete most Ashes centuries list, last updated on 17th June 2023, at the start of the Ashes 2023 series in England:

Much like the most runs list, former Australian captain Steve Smith is the only active international cricketer on this list of most individual Ashes centuries. He’s got 11 Ashes hundreds to his name and with a full 5-match series to come, he’s likely to overtake Jack Hobbs and sit second on the list, only behind the legendary Don Bradman.

Apart from Smith, the next highest from active players is Joe Root who has only 4 Ashes centuries but he began with a hundred in the 1st Test of Ashes 2023 and he has a good chance of climbing this list in the next few weeks itself. Those who missed making the top ten list of most Ashes hundreds are Maurice Leyland, Michael Slater, Bill Lawry, John Edrich, Michael Clarke, and Allan Border – 7 hundreds each!

The competition has been going on for centuries and we expect it continue for a few more decades as well, so there’s plenty of movement expected on this top 10 Ashes most hundreds list. As and when there are new entrants, Read Scoops will update the numbers on this list.
