Right through the group stage, it was Taiwan Beer who dominated proceedings in Taiwan and they moved straight into the finals for finishing at the top of the table, with 5 successive wins to end the round robin stage. Then, they were up against Yulon Luxgen Dinos, who swept the 3-game play-offs to reach the finals.
With three consecutive wins in the playoff stage, we know that Yulon would’ve fancied their chances in the final as they had momentum on their side while Tawian Beer would’ve been slightly rusty. Yulon Luxgen Dinos
It was a fantastic outing for American point guard Marcus Keene who continued a good season with 25 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in Final 1, so he makes my YD vs TB fantasy team even though he’s an expensive pick. As for their power forward Lu Cheng-Ju, he also had a fabulous first final game with 32 points for Yulon which helped them go on to secure victory in the first final of SBL 2019/20.
For the first time in this season, Sim Bhullar had an average game and I’m going to take a big risk by leaving him out for some like hooting guard Douglas Creighton who is a much cheaper pick and even made three 3-pointers from 8 attempts in the last game, having played 24 minutes. Small forward Yi-Hui Lin played 26 minutes and managed to convert 4 of his 5 2-point attempts and is a good pick as well for today.
Taiwan Beer
Former international point guard Yu-An Chang also had a good game in Final 1 with a total of 13 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, so he’s a good selection for your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team today. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev is expensive but he’s been consistent for them right through this season, with 19 points for his team in Final 1, though coming in a lost cause.
Since we’ve already spent so heavily on other players, we’ll have to skip Kentrell Barkley and pick small forward Huang Tsung-Han who has been a regular part of the roster, playing 24 minutes for one 2-pointer and one 3-pointer in Final 1. Though he didn’t make the starting 5 in the last game, Hao-Ji Wang is a good power forward who netted three 2-pointers in 15 minutes on court in the last game.
