In India, we’re never short of news items when it comes to politics. Whether it’s ‘Go-Corona-Go’ or unearthing of some new massive scams, our politicians find a way to hit the headlines, all the way. One recent video emerged where in a female BJP representative is seen hitting a government office, a video which is surely going to go viral worldwide.
BJP leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat was recently caught on video hitting a government official, yelling at him while at it too. She slapped him and then later picked up her slipper to hit him as well. The man was identified as Sultan Singh, market committee secretary of Hisar, Haryana.
As per a report in the Indian Express, both parties went on to file FIRs against each other but clearly, Phogat is in the wrong in this video, as Singh quietly accepted the hitting that he was receiving, in front of a crowd of people that too. Singh later gave out a statement where he said he was innocent and was needlessly thrashed by Sonali and her goons.

“At Balasamand, I noted whatever problems she mentioned. She blamed me for opposing her during the Adampur election. As soon as I turned towards her, she slapped me while blaming me for abuse. I was surprised. The goons were with her. They too thrashed me. I ran to a shop to save my life,” he said.
Phogat has alleged that Singh spoke to her rudely and with the use of abusive language. However, these are allegations and there is no evidence of the same as yet. Police was even present at the time of Singh getting bashed up and sadly, there was no intervention. I guess that’s political power in our country for you!
