American clothing company Levi’s has for decades been a leader in global retail clothing, especially that of denims and jeans. Every now and then, they announce new clothing collections which then go viral and super popular across the world and very recently, they announced yet another new brand collection with one of their global brand ambassadors.
We’re talking about Bollywood actress and superstar Deepika Padukone who yes, is a global Levi’s ambassador and not just for India. On Wednesday, 6 October 2021, the company announced the launch of a new collection in association with Deepika, after announcing her as a global ambassador earlier this year itself.
The collections takes us through some Levi’s classic range of jeans and denims, while also incorporating and introducing Padukone’s favourites like athleisure pieces, edgy faux leather pants, oversized shirts and more. The new collection will be available in Levi’s retail outlets, Levi.in and selected e-commerce platforms starting from 8 October 2021, said the brand retailer in a statement.

The new collection includes varsity jackets, co-ord sweatsuits, crop-tops and bralettes. It includes interpretations of Levi’s denims, with new 70’s-inspired high waist jeans and cut and sew wide-leg silhouettes which are now trending once again globally. This was Deepika’s first big collaboration with the brand since she was brought on as ambassador earlier this year.

Levi’s has always believed in ‘authentic self-expression’ and the collaboration is just that. We wanted to work with Deepika because of her iconic sense of style and its influence on consumers.
