Underworld Don Chhota Rajan Passes Away

Over the years and decades, the man in questions gained the reputation of being one of the most notorious and dreaded gangster in Mumbai and well, India and overseas too. We’re talking about Chhota Rajan aka Rajendra Nikalse who reigned supreme over the underworld at one point of time. However, news has come in of the gangster passing away due to the fatal coronavirus disease.

Underworld Don Chhota Rajan Passes Away

Reports say that he was admitted in All India Institute of Medical Services (AIIMS) Hospital in New Delhi and passed away a while back on Friday, 7th May 2021. For those who don’t know, Rajan was lodged in the high security Tihar prison in New Delhi after being arrested in Indonesia way back in 2015 and was admitted to AIIMS on 26th April 2021.

On 26th April, he was supposed to be presented to a sessions court but a Tihar jail official let the court know that Rajan won’t be present via video conference as he had tested positive for Covid-19. Since then, he was in the hospital itself and while we don’t have exact details of his condition, it’s safe to assume that he deteriorated after being admitted to hospital.

Rajan had a heinous criminal history and has over 70 registered cases on him which include cases for kidnapping, murder, extortion and much more. UPDATE: News reports coming in suggests that Chhota Rajan is still alive. We regret the error and are sorry for the inconvenience.
